Strays and Littering

Valley street issues is back again with more problems plaguing our neighbourhood. There have been a massive increase in stray cats and dogs over the past few weeks. The main issue that seems to be attracting them in such numbers seems to be the wanton littering of the residents, as leftovers are also part of the items that people discard.

Worse still, there appears to be a number of residents who are deliberately leaving food out for these strays, teaching them to congregate in large numbers as they look for food. Dogs are also attracted by all these food, and there have been multiple reports of joggers being bitten by dogs around the park.

Valley street issues urge all residents to be on the lookout for any large packs of stray dogs, and to stay away from them. We also urge you to stop littering or leaving out food, to prevent more strays from accumulating. Please use the garbage disposal facilities provided, instead of leaving them out in the air.
