Valley street: Crime rate on the rise?

Recently, a rash of petty crimes have taken Valley street by storm. Judging from the reports that we have received, it would appear that there have been a large increase in both vandalism and pick-pocketing cases. Posters bearing crude sentences have been posted across roadsigns around the streets, obscuring vital information. Vehicle owners have woken up to find that their cars and vans have been spray painted by vandals during the night, causing them no small amount of inconvenience as they have to spend time and money to get rid of them.

These cases have flown under the radar of the authorities for quite some time, as most of their victims don't report them as they feel that it would raise too much fuss over such a small issue, allowing the vandals to operate with near impunity.

In addition, there have been reports by a number of the residents of a rash of pickpockets operating within the area, with multiple residents having their wallets stolen while they were in the neighbourhood. As before, the authorities have been slow to respond to this issue, as the number of people who have come forth to report such cases are few and far between.

Valley street issues urges all residents to keep and eye out and report any such cases that you come across, as the only way to solve this problem is to bring it to the attention of the authorities and force them to investigate the issue.
